I paint what inspires me, mostly ancient architecture and figures. Flowers and film Noir. Color is a huge part of everything I do. These paintings are essentially snapshots of moments in my mind that resonated with me. I may not be the best technical painter, so I've learned to embrace the imperfections of my art along with life. These aspects mirror each other greatly and act as my form of therapy, a very freeing process for me.
Solo. This is my first sculpture that I’ve created on my own since working with Peter Shire and Olivia Cognet. Experimental floor lamp.
We are all abstract in a sense, art is form…a tangible connection of energy and existence. I made this piece in a creative flow, never forced. The pebble white glaze is grounding and peaceful, covering my interpretation of a free form liberated body.
